RULES & REGULATIONS
While typically not needed during STEAM conferences and events, please ensure that you are aware of the conference rules and regulations.
Participants are expected to punctually attend all events and be fully engaged at all times to the best of their ability.
Participants and participant teams are expected to complete conference tasks, posts, and sharing requests on time.
Participants are expected to behave properly just as they were in a face-to-face event.
Each and every team member must display gracious professionalism at all times.
Technology must be considered as a tool to communicate and interact among teams and staff. It should never be used to offend or disrespect any of the participants in any way.
Communication among participants and staff should be delivered through official channels provided by the event. FAQ forums will be available for all participants.
Participants should use all conference communication platforms appropriately and practice safe digital citizenship skills
Only authorized teachers and staff can ask you to turn on your cameras for authentication purposes.
Always be alert of any malicious activity in your breakout session. If an unauthorized individual is present in the room you must report immediately
Be advised that everything during these sessions can be recorded.
Participants are highly encouraged to be self-guided learners that actively access tutorials, online resources, and adult mentors support.
